Within light inside glass
Light, glass and their interaction from artistic and scientific points of view are the theme of the exhibition conceived and promoted by Vicarte, held in Venice and Lisbon on the occasion of the International Year of Light 2015.
The conceptual core is the interaction between light and glass. The whole project aims to emphasize the mutual influences between the immateriality of light and the materiality of glass, fluidity of the first, translucidity of the latter. The logotype is conceived to recall the transparency of glass. Typography and photographs by Alan Jaras are conjugated so to consent many declinations and applications, giving a great versatility to the project. In the exhibition areas and in open urban spaces, this flexibility permitted to meet exigencies and constraints, by means of a fluid combination of image and text, based on the interaction between the main elements of the project: transparency, light, color, movement.
